Context

  • Established cooking magazine with an outdated visual identity and a text-heavy, rigid layout that no longer reflected contemporary editorial standards or audience expectations.

Approach

  • Created a completely new visual identity, including logo and typography

  • Shifted focus from text-heavy pages to a more visual, image-driven experience

  • Introduced a clean and flexible layout system to improve readability and engagement

Execution

  • Full redesign of magazine layout and visual style

  • Development of typographic hierarchy and grid system

  • Definition of visual language for imagery and editorial pages

  • Art direction of the first issue to ensure consistency in execution
